11.1.1 School Planning, Hertfordshire County Council
11.1.1.1 Consultation on the proposal to open a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) at Featherstone Wood Primary School, Stevenage from 1 September 2025. The SRP will provide up to 12 places for pupils with social communication difficulties, including autism, in addition to children with severe speech disorders and developmental language disorder. 11.1.1.2 Consultation on the proposal to close the Speech, Language and Communication Needs base at Hillshott Infant School and Nursery, Letchworth from 31 August 2025
One of the changes required to deliver a new strategy of Specialist Resource Provisions is the closure of the existing SLCN base at Hillshott Infant School and Nursery, a community school in Letchworth. This is because the County Council is proposing to open a new SRP at Featherstone Wood in Stevenage from 01 September 2025. Deadline for comments (to be submitted via link): 23rd October
