Please be aware that there is a defibrillator available in Lilley for public use. It is located on the end wall of Cassel Memorial Hall – the wall that faces West Street (see photo below).
In the event of an emergency, please call 999 and let the operator know you have access to a defibrillator. The call handler will give you the access code to the cabinet that houses the defibrillator and will talk you through the instructions for use, if necessary.
The defibrillator is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The pads are dual use, for adults and children.
The defibrillator is registered with The Circuit which emergency services have access to, so they are aware of its existence and location. It is also registered with the Staying Alive and AED Map apps, which show all registered defibrillators in the UK.
